The Solar Exalted
There are exactly 150 untainted, unstolen Solar Essence Shards, about 30 for each Caste. Of these:
75 are currently part of one of the three Cult of the Illuminated Training Schools.
75 are not.
Because Solar Essence shards tend to have a reincarnation cycle measured within a few months, there are never more than one or two out of the loop.
In general, there are 3-5 Solars alive who have more than 5 years of experience. Two of these are the Bull of the North and Filial Wisdom. The other one to three are left up to the Storyteller's discretion.
The Cult Of The Illuminated
Cult Solars are members of one of the three Solar Training Camps. All of them have under 5 years of experience (and under 250 XP). Each of the three camps has approximately 25 Solars in it.
Other Solars
There are 75 Solars at large in Creation. Of these,
About 35 have formed Circles already.
About 20 are working for stronger beings.
About 20 are operating on their own.
The East
