- Kazei Jun Gareth - Gareth is one of the province's border captain, and a member of Shalaian's influential Gens Jun. Gruff and taciturn, he is a patriotic soul who dislikes the people of Kathedra, but who seems to consider the good of the Shogunate to take precedence over his feelings, making him capable of diplomacy.
