SILVER PACT CHARACTER CREATION
Step 1: Caste: Choose any of the three Lunar Castes from the Lunar core book.
MOTIVATION: Choose a Motivation.
ATTRIBUTES: The character chooses her three Caste Attributes, plus one Favoured Attribute of their choice. They then prioritize their Attributes, placing 8 points into their Primary Attributes, 6 into their Secondary Attributes, and 4 into their Tertiary Attributes. Finally, they choose two of their Caste or Favoured Attributes and put one dot into each of them. The Lunar's Favoured Attribute must be rated 3 or higher.
ABILITIES: Silver Pact Lunars automatically receive Survival as a Caste Ability, and may choose one other Favoured Ability. The Lunar then spreads 28 ability points as desired. The Favoured Ability must be rated at least 2.
Silver Pact Lunars follow the following requirements: One combat ability at 2, Survival 2, Athletics 1, and Resistance 1.
BACKGROUNDS: The Silver Pact encourages Lunars to stand on their own, but is generally willing to offer a helping hand here and there. As such, Pact Lunars receive 9 background points.
Pact Lunars choose their Backgrounds from the following Steel and Glass list: Allies, Artifact, Backing, Contacts, Cult, Familiar, Followers, Heart's Blood, Influence, Manse, Mentor, Reputation, Resources, Solar Bond, Songlines, Spies, and Tattoo Artifact.
VIRTUES: Silver Pact Lunars begin play with 5 dots of Virtues. No Virtue may be bought above 3 dots without spending bonus points.
CHARMS: Silver Pact Lunars are trained to use their shapeshifting powers to full efficiency. They receive 10 Charms or Knacks. Two of these must be Knacks, and five must be Caste or Favoured Charms or Knacks.
WILLPOWER AND ESSENCE: Lunars begins with Willpower equal to the sum of their two highest Virtues. They begin with Essence 2 as normal.
BONUS POINTS: Lunars receive 15 bonus points. Bonus points are spent as per the Manual of Exalted Power: The Lunars.
UNDERCITY CHARACTER CREATION
Step 1: Caste: Choose any of the three Lunar Castes from the Lunar core book.
MOTIVATION: Choose a Motivation.
ATTRIBUTES: The character chooses one Favoured Attribute in addition to her three Caste Attributes, which cannot be in the same Attribute category. The character then spreads 8 points in her primary category, 6 in her secondary category, and 4 in her third category. She then adds a single Attribute dot to one of her Caste or Favoured Attributes. The character's Favoured Attribute must be rated at least 3.
ABILITIES: Undercity Lunars automatically receive Survival as a Caste Ability, and may choose one other Favoured Ability. The Lunar then spreads 28 ability points as desired. The Favoured Ability must be rated at least 3.
Undercity Lunars follow the following requirements: One combat ability at 2, Survival 1, Investigation 1, and Larceny 1.
BACKGROUNDS: The Undercity encourages Lunars to use their power to spread their influence, and is willing to lend aid as necessary - this creates a web of alliances and favours. Undercity Lunars receive 12 background points.
Undercity Lunars choose their Backgrounds from the following Steel and Glass list: Allies, Artifact, Backing, Contacts, Cult, Familiar, Followers, Heart's Blood, Influence, Manse, Mentor, Reputation, Resources, Solar Bond, Songlines, Spies, and Tattoo Artifact.
VIRTUES: Undercity Lunars begin play with 5 dots of Virtues. No Virtue may be bought above 3 dots without spending bonus points.
CHARMS: Undercity Pact Lunars are well-trained, but often focus more on their innate Charms than raw shapeshifting. They choose any ten Charms or Knacks, five of which must be Caste or Favoured. Undercity Lunars must have at least one Charm or Knack each from the Physical, Social, and Mental categories.
WILLPOWER AND ESSENCE: Lunars begins with Willpower equal to the sum of their two highest Virtues. They begin with Essence 2 as normal.
BONUS POINTS: Lunars receive 15 bonus points. Bonus points are revised as follows:
Attributes: 4 pts (3 if Caste or Favoured)
Abilities, Backgrounds, Virtues, Willpower: As normal
Essence: 9 pts
Charms: 7 pts (5 if Caste or Favoured)
Martial Arts Charms: 8 pts (6 if Caste or Favoured)
FREE LUNAR CHARACTER CREATION
(Note: 'Free' Lunars are Lunars who, after receiving their tattoos, decline to join either the Pact or the Undercity.)
Step 1: Caste: Choose any of the three Lunar Castes from the Lunar core book.
NATURE: Choose any from the corebook.
ATTRIBUTES: The character chooses two Favoured Attributes in addition to her three Caste Attributes, which cannot be in the same Attribute category. The character then spreads 8 points in her primary category, 7 in her secondary category, and 5 in her third category. All Caste and Favoured Attributes must be rated at least 3.
ABILITIES: Free Lunars automatically receive Survival as a Caste Ability, and may choose one other Favoured Ability. The Lunar then spreads 30 ability points as desired. The Favoured Ability must be rated at least 3.
Free Lunars are required to have Survival 2.
BACKGROUNDS: Free Lunars receive only 7 points of Backgrounds.
Free Lunars choose their Backgrounds from the following Steel and Glass list: Allies, Artifact, Backing, Contacts, Cult, Familiar, Followers, Heart's Blood, Influence, Manse, Mentor, Reputation, Resources, Songlines and Spies.
VIRTUES: Free Lunars begin play with 5 dots of Virtues. No Virtue may be bought above 3 dots without spending bonus points.
CHARMS: Free Lunars begin play with only 8 Charms, in addition to Finding the Spirit's Shape. At least four of these Charms must be Caste or Favoured (not counting Martial Arts). No more than two may be Martial Arts Charms.
WILLPOWER AND ESSENCE: Lunars begins with Willpower equal to the sum of their two highest Virtues +1. They begin with Essence 2 as normal.
BONUS POINTS: Lunars receive 15 bonus points. Bonus points are revised as follows:

CASTELESS LUNAR CHARACTER CREATION
(Note: Being Casteless sucks.)
Step 1: Caste: None. Casteless cycle through the Castes normally.
NATURE: Choose any from the corebook.
ATTRIBUTES: The character chooses one Favoured Attribute in each of the three categories. The character then spreads 8 points in her primary category, 6 in her secondary category, and 4 in her third category. All Favoured Attributes must be rated at least 3.
ABILITIES: Even Casteless Lunars automatically receive Survival as a Caste Ability, and may choose one other Favoured Ability. The Lunar then spreads 28 ability points as desired. The Favoured Ability must be rated at least 3.
Casteless Lunars must have Survival 1.
BACKGROUNDS: Casteless Lunars receive only 7 points of Backgrounds.
Casteless Lunars choose their Backgrounds from the following Steel and Glass list: Allies, Artifact, Backing, Contacts, Cult, Familiar, Followers, Heart's Blood, Influence, Manse, Mentor, Reputation, Resources, Songlines and Spies.
