History
Mavren was born as a kitchen servant in the small nation of Korthos, ruled by a vicious and cruel king. Growing up, Mavren felt the sting of being ruled, and swore that he would get revenge. One day, he saw the captain of the guard beating one of his friends, and intervened. As the guard captain turned on him, planning to kill this wretch, Mavren Exalted in that moment and killed the captain, then fled into the woods.
In the woods of Korthos, Mavren came across Benjan and Adira, who were acting as rebels. Together, the three Exalts marched on the palace, overthrew the king, and took charge. Now, Mavren rules the kingdom, as he tries to understand this strange new life he has so rapidly found.
