Heshiesh’s Waystones

When Ragara Sylenia gathered architechts to construct the Waystones, she sought out the renowned manse-architect Sesus Tanderavi. Tanderavi was at first reluctant to take part, but the idea of exulting the Dragons across Creation caught his interest, and he ultimately spent many years finding Fire-aspected demenses to convert, continuing the Waystone project long after all the other architects were gone.

The Heshiesh’s Waystones, Tanderavi’s completed work, bear a tall statue of the Immaculate Dragon of Fire in his human guise, with his outstretched hands holding ever-burning flames. The altar sits before him, such that anyone praying at it has twin shadows cast, reminding them that they strive to become as the Fire Dragon. The statue’s hearthstone socket lies on the top of the altar itself.

Game Mechanics

Manse Level 2.
Drawbacks: Habitability 3 (Statue and altar)

Powers:

Armoured (3 pts): The statues of Heshiesh are phenomenally difficult to destroy. They have 14L/21B soak.

Bound Servitor (2 pts): A small fire elemental burns in the hearth of each Heshiesh’s Waystone. It is generally sluggish, but will act to defend pilgrims or the Manse itself.

Magical Conveniences (1 pt): The twin fires in Heshiesh’s palms never stop burning, no matter what is applied to them. Only by shattering the hands themselves can the fire be quenched. In addition, anything that would dirty the statue instantly slides off, leaving it perfectly clean.

Well-Flavoured Aspect (1 pt): The surface of a Heshiesh’s Waystone resonates with the Fire Dragon. All Fire-aspected Dragon-Bloods gain +1 die to all rolls while they are touching the statue or altar.

Each Heshiesh’s Waystone produces a Sentinel’s Stone (Oedanol’s Codex, Pg 93).
