Zhumaydan was called "Laughing Hawk" in her childhood. She is memorable as being jovial, cunning, and talkative. She is known to have a weakness for gambling.
A Vision
Zhumaydan is striking in appearance. She has richly tanned mahogany skin, and against this the golden tattoo of her Castemark shines very brightly. In her curly black hair, she has braided many gold rings. Here and there there are strands the deep colour of orichalque, reminiscent of her brother's fully golden mane. Her mode of dress is sort of a cross between Assyrian and Thai style...I'll need to get some drawings of this up.
A Cup of Light
Zhumaydan's anima is a pillar of red-gold motes that swirl around her like a dust devil. In its upper airs, gold and violet raptors wheel on the thermals.

- 0 Motes: Zhumaydan's golden Twilight Castemark is visible at all times.
- 1-3 Motes: As she begins to spend Peripheral Essence, the Castemark begins to flicker with otherworldly luminosity. Anyone who can see her can make a Perception + Awareness roll at standard difficulty to notice these flashes of light.
- 4-7 Motes: At this level of display, Zhumaydan's Castemark glows like a beacon, and its light will shine through anything placed over it.
- 8-10 motes: Now Zhumaydan begins to be surrounded by her desert pillar. She stands in the centre of a sunbeam, and those standing close to her have their shadows blur into a bwitching half-light, where sun and shadow are indistinct.
- 11-15 motes: The pillar begins to twist and dance, and its light is visible for miles. The ground becomes dry under Zhumaydan's feet; mud hardens and leaves begin to wilt and brown along their edges, as if it has not rained in a long time. Feathers have begun to form in the anima's display, and silhouettes of birds fly high above.
- 16+ motes: The pillar becomes a huge sandstorm, and Zhumaydan is surrounded by amethyst-and-gold eagles of Essence, who circle in its subtle winds, giving piercing cries.

- 1 Mote: Invoke anima displays at 4 motes or 8 motes.
- 5 Motes: Roll Essence, subtracting the successes from the damage successes of an attack against the Exalt.
