Immaculate Golden Body of the Sun
Cost: 60 motes
This spell represents the highest homage a Solar Sorcerer can pay to his god. He doubles in height, his skin turns bright as the sun itself, and his every proportion and appearance become perfect. He also sprouts an extra pair of arms below his normal pair.
The benefits of this spell are manifold and varied:
First off, imbuing a character's skin with the sun itself gives it immense properties of resistance. The character gains +20 Lethal and Aggravated soak and takes no damage from any attacks that his skin absorbs completely (that is, under 20 dice of lethal or aggravated). He is also rendered immune to bashing damage. The character's perfect visage also raises his Appearance by his permanent Essence for the duration of this spell.
The Solars connection with the Sun's energies allows him to manifest weapons of pure light. These weapons have relevant stats of the character's permanent Essence, and are usable with any abilities the Solar chooses. Weapons made with this ability either manifest as giant versions of normal weapons composed of the sun's rays, or they can manifest as simply part of the Solar's body as he imbues his hands and feet with the sun's power. Manifesting these weapons is a reflexive action that can be done four times a turn at the character's initiative. The character may only have four of these weapons manifested at any one time.
The increase in size doubles the character's strength, and allows him to add double his essence to his strength+athletics score for the purposes of lifting and breaking objects only. Additionally, the character's extra arms allows him to make four actions per turn without splitting his dice pool. The character cannot further split these actions, and he loses them any turn in which he uses an Extra-Action type charm.
This spell last one scene before ending in a giant flash of light. It is worth noting that this spell is incompatible with other spells of transformation of the Solar Circle, such as Unity of the Closed Fist.
This spell is typically used only in times of great need, as the Unconquered Sun looks poorly on those who take on his visage for frivolous tasks.
