Onrush Burst
Prerequisites: Athletics 3
When the Exalted wish to act, none may gainsay them.
Spend 1 mote to interupt the turn order, acting before the current character declares their action if you have not acted this round. After her action is complete, return initiative to the interrupted character. Onrush Burst may only be used once per scene, and may not be used to interrupt characters during a surprise round, nor to interrupt an already interrupted action.
- Be Not Stayed (Abyssal) Death's Lawgivers cannot be turned from their course; they may use Onrush Burst to cancel interruptions.
- Dynamic Reaction Enhancement System (Alchemical) When purchased, the Alchemical selects one action other than Attack, which may be changed during the Rite of Reconfiguration. She may use Onrush Burst to take this action any number of times per scene.
- Inevitable Pursuit (Sidereal) If the Sidereal uses her action to Rush, Aim, or Attack, she regains the spent mote.
- Living Pulse Perception (Lunar) Excitement charges Luna's predators; they may use Onrush Burst against opponents with lower Power than themselves any number of times per scene.
- Not Like This (Getimian) Getimians may use Onrush Burst in Step 2, to interrupt a character after they have declared their action but before it is rolled or completed. Any charms the interrupted character used are refunded.
- Rising Smoke (Dragon-Blooded) The Dragon-Blooded may use Onrush Burst against opponents with greater Power than themselves any number of times per scene.
- Surprise Anticipation Method (Solar) The Lawgivers are never caught off-guard, and may use Onrush Burst even when surprised.
- Swifter than Death (Liminal) Liminals may interrupt the undead any number of times per scene.
- The Harvest is Ready (Strawmaiden) After completing her action, the Strawmaiden passes initiative instead of returning it to the interrupted character.
- Wind-Born Stride (Infernal) When using Onrush Burst, the Infernal may reflexively move one range band. This movement does not count towards her movement for the turn.
