The Hulg are those unfortunates who plunge within Prex Il's depths to reach their foes, only to be gutted by her waters. The eyeless skins that emerge afterwards appear as they did in life barring their now blood-red eyes. In silence, they take pick or shovel or claws to the banks of Prex Il, ever widening their mother's banks. They are called upon by those seeking treasures on riverbeds or those wishing to speed up the creation of irrigation systems. Their work is often flawed however, unless the summoner pays close attention, for the original soul is never fully suppressed and will hide flaws in their work until their duty has been completed.

A typical Hulg will resemble the peasants native to the area the sorcerer is located within. They are sometimes clothed, oft times not, but they all have crimson fluid where their eyes belong that is constantly weeping. This is the blood of their mother Prex Il and should they be drained of it, they will cease to function until they are refilled with blood once more.

Soak: 8L/12B (Tough Skin 4/4) Virtues: They operate the same as zombies, failing every virtue check except valor which they will always succeed.

Charms: Materialize (pg 292 core), Landscape Travel, Landscape Camouflage, Measure The Wind (Pg. 291 core), Perpetuum (custom, see below)

Permanent Essence: 2, Willpower: 8, Essence Pool: 55 Cost to materialize: 40 Health Levels: -0 x 1, -1 x 3, -2 x 3, -4 x 1, Inc.

Notes: Hulg recover Ess HLs in bashing damage every two turns. Only lethal damage has any lasting effect as its the only way to make them lose their mother's blood.

The grand-spawn of Tulchinary can only be so long without the blood of their mother or a living creature before they begin to deteriorate. However, they have developed a method to speed the bathing process. When a target is slain, such demons may spend 5 motes with their hand on the target's body to absorb their blood. The blood courses through its body and allows up to 2 x Essence in HLs of blood to be stored within its body. If the blood isn't released within two days time, it is released into their mother back in Malfeas.

Charm Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
When a Hulg is slain, it may attempt to transfer its mother's blood to a nearby corpse and possess it. Above all, this does require a corpse to be within Willpower X yards of the Hulg in question. It rolls a Sta+Ess roll at difficulty 3. If it succeeds, it successfully raises the other corpse in its place. The act of raising consuming the newly created Hulg's first action but after that, it can attack and move as normal.
