This charm provides a moment of brilliance that adds up to (essence) in dice for a single action. For improving a static defence value each success rolled boosts the defence value by 1.

Second (Ability) Excellency

Cost: 2 m per success Mins: (ability) 1, essence 2
Type: reflexive (step 1 for attacker, step 2 for defender)

Prerequisite Charms: None
This charm provides a moment of utter perfection that adds a number of successes to a single action. For improving a static defence value each success purchased boosts the defence value by 1. The God Blooded may not spend more motes upon a single use of this charm than her essence.

Third (Ability) Excellency

Cost: 4 m Mins: (ability) 1, essence 1
Type: reflexive (step 4 for attacker, step 6 for defender)

Prerequisite Charms: None
This charm allows smooth recovery from failure. The God Blooded can use this charm after a roll based upon the relevant ability. The charm allows her player to make the roll again, using the new result if the player prefers it. When used to bolster a static defence value it is boosted by half the relevant ability.

This charm allows the God Blooded to surpass the limitations of their essence and achieve their true potential. This charm permanently improves the dice adder limit of the First and Second Excellencies to be determined by their rating in the relevant ability rather than permanent essence.


Charm Concept: Imperfection

The charms of God Blooded are unique in scope and often self-taught extensions of who they are. Typically they only work in a certain way, or at a certain time or against certain foes. The Excellencies are a notable exception from this, as are more powerful "all encompassing charms" that always work regardless of the circumstances. Generally however these charms have higher prerequisites and impose additional costs in motes and willpower.

Anya is a Golden Child (a daughter of a powerful Solar Exalted) her version of the charm “Always Aware” draws upon her connection to the sun and as a result only works during the day.
