Backstory

Alia is formerly of the royal family of Hisham, a small trading city in the South. When the rest of her family died in a bloody coup Alia had a chance to rally her supporters- claim the throne and seek justice for her family. Instead she fled to Chiaroscuro, where she severed all connections to her past and for a time went by the name of Shimmering Pearl.

Eventually she was approached by what she first assumed to be a god, a great translucent wasp of unspeakable beauty - it explained to her that by denying her rightful throne and the chance to see justice served she was now doomed to spend the remained of her life in mediocrity and be only a footnote in history.

There was another way though, she had only to accept the power and then she would have the strength to set things right... and without hesitation she accepted.

Emerging from her chrysalis, Alia had absorbed some of the Agata's wanderlust - she vowed to travel the deserts of the south and moving erratically from tribe to tribe in order to help them find the order of Cecelyne.

Appearance

A beautiful southern woman, with long brown hair and tan skin and shimmering eyes that never seem to remain one colour for long. She favours long flowing robes and carries a traveler's walking stick with her at all times - she doesn't need it but the demon in her head finds it's presence comforting.
