Ekrasios
Ekrasios, the Sculptor in the Maze
Demon of the Third Circle, Soul of Malfeas\\ In the bowels of the Demon City, there walks a man draped in banners of white silk, which fly behind him as far as the eye can see. At his feet rises a bronze cloud, into which the banners vanish. Whatever creature touches the draperies of Ekrasios turns to glittering dust and joins the cloud that follows him. He is lost forever in contemplation; he knows all the memories of the creatures he transfigures. A fragment of his pale robe, wielded by one with knowledge and power, turns flesh to precious metals dependent on the wielder's nature. It can be a potent weapon.
Spears of Ekrasios
Artifact •••; •• for Infernals\\ These are the bolts of silk that Ekrasios awards to the worthy. They have the statistics of a direlance, and require a like mote commitment to be used; when unattuned, they appear to simply be yards and yards of silk that cannot be stained. They harmonize naturally with the animas of Infernal Exalted. When fully attuned, they gain an unusual power: any person wounded by them suffers doubled wound penalties, as his flesh begins to turn metallic. Someone slain by a Spear of Ekrasios turns completely to metal, unless by some magical means his corpse is destroyed. The metal depends on the nature of the creature wielding it. The transformed corpse will slowly revert back to flesh after several days, unless the Exalt commits 1 mote of Essence per corpse he wishes to retain in its changed state.
- Solar Exalts turn their victims to gold.
- Abyssals cause their victims to turn to iron in Creation, and black grave jade in the Underworld.
- Infernal Chosen cause their victims to turn to corroded bronze. If the Infernal is simulating the anima of another Exalt using Charms, then it corresponds to that type.
- Lunars turn their enemies into statues of silver.
- Sidereal Exalts turn corpses to fine steel in any place bound by Fate; in other places their kills turn to iron.
- Dragon-Blooded cause those they kill to turn to sand tinged in their elemental color.
- Little Gods turn victims to boiling quicksilver if their Essence is lower than 5; stronger gods cause transformations that relate to their province of government.
- Elementals cause their dead to become elemental matter: ice, wood, burning embers, water, stone, and so on. As with little gods, these vary from individual to individual, and tend to be more unique for stronger creatures.
