Physical Appearance: When he is not wearing one of his Resplendant Destinies, Tears of Blood (formerly known as Balthazar Maras) is a tall, muscular, swarthy and exotic-looking man who appears to be in his early thirties. He is missing his left eye and a long, white, angry scar runs from his hairline to his cheekbone (across the eye). His hair is thick, dark blue with wild electric blue highlights. He keeps it pulled back into a ponytail at all times. His eyes, before they became red, were a fiery orange, and if one stares closely at his remaining eye, one can see the orange peeking out around his pupil in a starburst pattern. His pupils are filled with gold, orange and red flecks that resemble a star-filled night. He has a beard which he keeps closely trimmed. Without a destiny, he has a moustache that joins it. (Not a man, so I have no idea what that's called).
In the Resplendant Destiny of the Banner he is always strikingly clad usually wearing some impressive-looking red uniform, shiny boots and medals. His demeanor is fearless, in combat he is always victorious and his stunts and actions are larger than life. However, his down-to-earth behavior makes him wonderfully tolerable, and it is as if he is always among you. His hair is kept short and his beard does not have the moustache part. His scar looks like a glorious war wound, and his skin becomes a milky color.
In the Resplendant Destiny of the Shield he was known as "Fury Hellspear." In the destiny he is bald and has a large, bushy, untrimmed beard. His scar is exaggerated; a trophy of his skills. He wears no shirt and no armor, but wears a kilt of furs about his waist. He retains his swarthy skin tone. He carries a shield and is always armed with his spear. He is rough and always eager for battle.
