Marcus, General of the Unconquered Sun (Dawn Caste Solar Exalted) [Dead]

A wall of a man, specializing in defensive charms and leading his growing army into battle. He is missing his left eye, which was replaced with a golden eye containing his Hearthstone. He recently lost his left arm in a battle with the Eviscerator in Nexus, and was slain by an assassin in a battle in his room in the dead of night. Eva was present for the battle, and was blamed for Marcus's death. However, when they burned the body, no bones were recovered from the fire...

Cosmo, Celestial Martial Artist (Zenith Caste Solar Exalted)

A master of the Celestial Monkey Style of martial arts, he continues to rise from the dead, no matter what anyone does to put him down, and to the shock and suprise of others. Has a pet monkey. Dallen suspects he is undead. He currently possesses a Moonsilver Grand Daiklave, looted from the body of Erkus, an extra Windhands Gemstone, and the Eye of Marcus.

Daikyu Makahara, Craftsman and Artificer (Twilight Caste Solar Exalted)

Practicing the Ebon Shadow Style of martial arts and wielding a magical Fighting Chain called Rolling Thunder Chains of Celestial Might as his weapon of choice, he also is talented with thrown weapons and shaping materials. Possesses the Sky Strider's Boots of Ten Thousand Winds, which allow him to fly.

Dallen Scellus, Master Archer (Night Caste Solar Exalted)

A bounty hunter and master archer, he possesses an Orichalcum Short Powerbow named Heartseeker of Doom, the Slayer of All Mortal Kind and uses it quite well. Contradicts Marcus's orders and has found Marcus's Hearthstone chamber behind the castle.

Albrecht Aurelius, Betrayer and Kinslayer (Fae-Blooded)

The term "hero" is used quite loosely here in the case of Albrecht. Originally a Fae-Blooded spy for his Fair Folk mother Ainnom in Creation, he recently slew his older brother Erkus and escaped her clutches. Has an Orichalcum Daiklave called Kinslayer, named this because he used it to kill his brother. He loses vitality while in Creation, so he constantly drains parts of the souls of young women to survive. He isn't trusted by the Circle.

Eva the Bonedancer, Destroyer of Legions (Dusk Caste Abyssal Exalted)

Arriving at the manse to join Marcus's army weilding a gigantic sword with a hooked tip, Eva quickly proved her worth by destroying an entire Dragon-Blooded legion with almost no problem. Failed to prevent Marcus's assassination, and was blamed for it due to her maniacal laughter when the assassin escaped. Posesses a Soulsteel Grand Daiklave called Flesh and Bone, a soulsteel-laced Reinforced Buff Jacket called Blood and Soul, and a strange, masklike Soulsteel Helmet called Mind and Focus.

Nomad, Wanderer of the Southern Sands (Dawn Caste Solar Exalted)

A traveller and a skilled combatant from the southwest, near Gem. His true identity is kept unknown to the circle, and is on his way to the castle.

---Supporting Heroes

Karel, Blademaster (Dawn Caste Solar Exalted)

A solar who disappears and reappears quite often. His Orichalcum Daiklave, the Wo Dao, is incredibly fast and quite deadly in his hands. Keeps to himself, but aided the Circle in escaping the Wyld.

Denet Barbarian-Slayer (Dawn Caste Solar Exalted)

A young man in Nexus who led a group of rag-tag militia to fight the coming Undead horde. He possesses an unusually heavy Jade Daiklave and has joined Marcus's army. His name comes from his exploits in defeating a small group of barbarians who wandered south and encountered him and several other villagers in the lands north of Nexus. He recently Exalted in a battle with Loki, and named his Daiklave (which turned out to be Orichalcum under the green Jade) The Sun's Voice.

---Abyssal Exalted

The Eviscerator, Reaper of Men (Dusk Caste Abyssal Exalted) [Dead]

A powerful (and quite mad) Abyssal, he has been contained within a special suit of Soulsteel superheavy plate. It is seamless and very solid. He wields a Soulsteel Grand Daiklave called Singing Fleshrender. The Circle recently slew him again and removed the Hearthstones in his armor that keeps him alive by letting the armor itself regenerate around them. The armor also became inert after the stones were removed.

The Sun's Quiver Forsaken, Fallen Marksman (Day Caste Abyssal Exalted)

A former rival of Dallen, he was humiliated by him but slain by another. He is vengeful, and since his death, his skill with the bow has greatly increased. He wields a soulsteel powerbow called Blackened Honor's Precision.

Ainnom, Mother of Albrecht (Fair Folk Noble)

The Fae parent of the Fae-Blooded Circle member Albrecht, Ainnom is as crazy as the rest of her kind. She is a master at shaping the Wyld to her will, and commands legions of loyal soldiers. Something holds her back, however, from entering and destroying Creation. The Circle accidentally delivered the Dead Moon Mask to her, and she is already beginning to harness its powers...

Relentless Soulsteel Predator (Soulsteel Caste Alchemical Exalted)

An Alchemical agent in Creation charged with finding and returning with any supplies of magical materials. His Clarity increases by the day, and he is now obsessed with his task, mechanically so. Has two Essence Pulse Cannons installed and is quite proficient with them.

Loki, Shapeshifting Assassin (God-Blooded)

A strange, bloodthirsty man from the eastern forests. Hired by a Dragon-Blooded noble to kill Marcus, or, if possible, the Circle. Has the ability to mimic the appearance and powers of his targets, and can attune to any artifact. He recently made the circle believe he killed Marcus, and actually escaped the castle with his unconscious body in tow.

• Neutral Characters

Eru, Bronze Faction Spy (Sidereal Exalted, Chosen of Battles)

Posing as a skilled commander and blacksmith, Eru joined Marcus's army for the sole purpose of spying on the Solars. If they cause any trouble, he will report them to his superiors and the Wyld Hunt will be anonymously informed of the location of the Circle. He is a talented martial artist and skilled with his two Starmetal Slashing Swords, Phobos and Deimos. Will not hesitate to use them if the Circle discovers his identity.
