Dalanka, Favored Medicine-Devil of the Shadow Gods
Dalanka is a great Alchemist-Warrior, a censor in the Court of the Ebon Dragon. Educated and erudite, most of her efforts since the Banishing have been focused on regaining access to Creation. She has achieved notoriety amongst demons for affinity with chemical tortures. She is empowered by the Dragon as negotiator, with authority to grant Exaltation to those who swear fealty to the Yozi Lords. Fortunately, she is prohibited by ancient pacts from advertising this option, and thus very few have the knowledge required to make the proper inquiry. Mortals never interest her enough to perform such an operation unless they serve her purposes directly.
Dalanka is a bald woman made of pure black Brass, entirely metal and yet somehow animate nontheless. She massages an oil made of human fat and tears into her body each month, and this gives her a slightly oily sheen in addition to keeping her joints limber. Dalanka is dressed in long flowing robe of near-black with a flared collar, the traditional garb of a Censor to the Harmonius Demon Courts (The deposed Celestial bureaucracy of the Primordials). She carries a staff made of cold lead, which is actually honed from the substance of her body.
