Zhakain, the Sunfire
Mendicant Wanderer and Warrior-Priest, Zhakain only rarely bothered to appear before the Solar Deliberative, viewing the body as self-absorbed and irreverent, and instead preferring to dwell among the Wilds of Creation and among the people of the Realm where he could bring the glory and the word of the Unconquered Sun unhindered by the garb of leadership and rule. Notorious for his criticism and harsh words for the Deliberative, this Pillar of Heaven set himself up as the honorable opposition of the Solar Rule. Nevertheless, the one named Sunfire always marshalled to the side of the Deliberative when threats to the Realm showed themselves, often leading the forces of the Realm personally in such circumstances. The cause of Zhakain's disdain for the Deliberative dates back to the ending of the Primordial War and the establishment of the Deliberative, but the exact reasons had become vague over the passage of time even before the Usurpation.
Following the Betrayal of the Dragon-Blooded, which Zhakain escaped by virtue of his separation from the Deliberative and travels on the Edges of the Realm, the Sunfire gathered up the common peoples of the Realm in a great Host aimed at gaining his vengeance against those that had murdered his fellows in Cold Blood. Mad with grief and overcome with thoughts of Vengeance, it seemed as though nothing would shake his conviction or his hold over the peoples he had gathered together into his army. Armed with farming tools and scrouched weapons, it seemed certain that slaughter awaited -- but thankfully the host never encountered the armies of the Dragon-Blooded. Instead, Zhakain was talked down from his mad attempt at vengeance by one of his life-long friends, Kimi Chak, Chosen of Endings, and voluntarily snuffed out his own spark in hope of a better future for Creation.
Note: Zhakain's Godspark is incarnated in the form of Fox.

Kimi Chak; the Sickle Maiden, Sorrow's Answer
One of the greatest Martial Artists of the First Age, Kimi Chak was a friend and confident to Zhakain -- the two meeting on those occasions when the Zenith felt as though he needed direction and advice, and was unable to find it in other places. The two did not always see eye to eye, and great were their arguements throughout the First Age, foremost among them the rightful place of the Solar Deliberative in Creation. Kimi Chak was a proponent of the Solar rule, at least at first, at it was with great sorrow that -- facing her old friend on the field of battle, ready to strike him down if he would not listen to her words -- she admitted her error, and stated her agreement with Zhakain that the Solars could not rule over Creation any longer.
