Crowned First Age Flashbacks
Hey all; I wanted a place to preserve some of my First Age memories, and the interesting scenes that go with them. So I'm starting this page. I might go back into my archives later and see if I can't find some of my older ones, but for now I'll just put in some flashbacks that occur in game.
A note on formatting: I'm displaying these "true to game" as much as I can:) I.e., I'm not going to rewrite them to better fit the format. First, because I'm too lazy to do that consistently and I want this library to be pretty complete so that it's useful to my players. I figure they can check in here and look over their past life flashbacks -- the players are more likely to forget this stuff than their players, and I like to make flashbacks useful in addition to cool. Second, just because I think it's more true to life to show what they actually looked like in game. This is what the players saw; useful as a memory aide, and hopefully interesting for any casual readers.
How these are written: I typically get up the day of the game, and take about 2 hours to write-up useful and interesting scenes that I might be able to pop into the game. These often lead to flashbacks, and I try to be fair in who gets what. I don't always get a chance to use all the scenes -- some of them I recycle, or use again the next session, others get squashed. I always try to use the flashbacks, if I can, but don't always.
