A Solar can learn to read people with the most simple of glances. They see how someone feels with the most subtle movement. No mere mortal can hide their feelings from the Solar blessed with this Charm. Without a roll, they can identify hidden weapons (from subtle movements around them), see a person's true feelings, and see acting and lies for what they are. They are able to read the slight motions of a person and tell much from the signs, reading them like any other evidence. The Solar can not tell the real truth (though in some situations it's easily guessed). This Charm does not defeat Charms designed to hide the truth, assisting in acting, or whatnot. In these cases, it allows a roll of Perception + Investigation with additional dice equal to the Solar's Essence.
