Stargazer's Sextant

This contraption, an assemblage of brass housings and intricate crystal lenses, is used by astrologers to take accurate measurements of the stars. To use a stargazer's sextant, the character must spend an entire night observing the stars and making careful computations. At the end of this observation, he may ask the Storyteller a single yes/no question that the Storyteller is encouraged to answer in as cryptic a manner as possible. In the hands of Sidereal Exalted, the stargazer's sextant becomes even more useful. When computing a horoscope for an astrology effect, the Sidereal may add +1 effect dice to his College + Essence roll. Many young Sidereals are given these sextants when they are vested in the Five-Score Fellowship, as a token of accomplishment from their sifu.
