This set of instruments is more then just a single scalpal. Rather they are a set of tools used for fixing up the skin. They can repair skin damaged by cuts, bruises or burns, or remove birthmarks or tattoos, or remove hair with lasting results. They also are perfectly capable of being used to place tattoos as well. Their one weakness is that they do nothing to help with the pain of such procedures which depending on what is being fixed can be quite painful. They also have a minor upkeep requiring a repair rating of 1.

These implements can be used to do the same Demon Tattooing that one sees in Malfeas assuming you had the right ingredients. They can not however be used to perform the Moonsilver Tattooing of the Lunars which requires special moonsilver implements to perform, something these lack.
