The Solar of the Night Caste Lu Zhin is a man of many beliefs. While he believes in the idea of lessers obeying their betters he at the same time strongly wishes to avoid becoming a tyrant who by charms and force makes all obey him. This shows most in his treatment of his Lunar mate and the development of this ring. Having wrestled with the ideas about how much she feels for him because of her Exaltation and how much is real as it were he settled on this making this ring. A simple band of Moonsilver with a sliver of Soulsteel taken from the weapons of a man who killed himself rather then deal with the problems of his own Lunar Mate this ring solves the problem. A Solar committs a mote to the ring and than has their Lunar mate wear the ring. While its worn the mote remains committed and the Lunar acts as if they had no Lunar Bond to that Solar. It is up to a Storyteller to decide if that means there is no Intimacy there at all. Taking off the ring cancels the committment and the bond once again acts fully upon the Lunar.
