Artifact •••••

The Exalted are powerful of this there can be no doubt. They are not however invinceable and often their arrogance is their undoing. In the First Age during the Thousand Struggles Era there was a dangerous behemoth that wandered in from the Wyld. Wether it had been locked away during the Primordial War or perhaps a creation of the Fair Folk or just a creature that had gotten lost long ago no one who faced it could say. It lurked in the southeast as a dangerous monster killing and terrorizing those near it. When it invaded and slew the city of Tote'ize was when the Exalted started in the area started to take more serious notice.

Several Dragonblooded assault squads sent to investigate and if possible destroy it never returned. So the Twilight Caste Thunderous Hero went and died. Her circlemate the Zenith Caste Hru also went and died trying to slay it. A third Solar, elder than both of the ones who died before prepared to face the monster but the Lunar went to his mate and asked to be allowed to deal with the matter. This No Moon had used sorcery and charm and investigation of places the beast had attacked to gather information the others did not have. He knew that he beast could turn people to stone with a look, its breathing filled the air with an imperceptable miasma to immobalize and its roar could steal the strength of ones limbs. It also fought in the jungle and swamps where the murk and roots entangled and tripped and slowed one down.

So he set himself to forging the counter to the beast. A gleaming suit of Moonsilver articulated plate armor. On its breast was the six eyed face of the basilisk. The armored plates themselves seeming more like scales than plates of metal. The craftwork inspiring and the ease at which one moved in it such that is seemed more like a second skin than heavy armor. Such were the enchantments worked into it that nothing could stop it or its user from moving.

The battle was terrible but unseen. Even the gods missed it as the monsterous creature could slay them even in their immaterial state. Yet the Lunar came back with its head victorious.

The armor has all the stats of Moonsilver Articulated Plate though unlike some such suits does not incorporate armored fists and boots for fighting as its design was meant for a Lunar to hold a weapon or grow their own from their hands. The real strength lies in its enchantments. Nothing that would hold the user in place works or slow them down fails. Attacks which induce paralysis, weather by poison, shaping, crippling or clinch attacks all fail. Though it does not let them swim easily in the water they can run and jump as if the water were not there. If you bury them in the dirt to their neck they can just pull free. Martial arts which induce paralysis fail, etc. Any clinch attack fails against the user though they can always make their own and just break the clinch as soon as they are losing. Chains wrapped around them can be slipped off. An attempt to use sorcery or certain charms to lift them off the ground all fail. Effects which induce penalties on the user also fail if they are based around slowing their movements down or entangling them or such all fail.

The weakness to this defense lies in giving the user enough space to move freely. Locked in a jail cell the bars and walls hold them in place though often mere bars are not enough to stop one who would wear such armor. Blocking the entrance to a cave keeps them trapped as well so long as they can move around within the rest of the cave. Also the armor provides no defense against being knocked around. A tornado wind or the swipe of the Kukla's tail might send them tumbling away but no wind no matter how strong would keep them trapped against a wall.

This armor costs 10m to attune and a maw on the front of the armor acts as a hearthstone socket.
