History
In the eastern parts of An-Teng there is a great palace and temple. The home of the Golden Lord many of the nearby mountain villages send children to become his priests. Serene Tiger was one of those. She was always a calm and quiet girl with a strong foundation of ethics and justice in her nature which suited her perfectly for serving the God. She even met him twice while she was a mortal. Each meeting inspired her and she trained her body hard in the arts of war. She wasn't the best at the art of prayer but her destiny was strong and the God could see that.
As she grew older though she had stranger and stranger dreams. Like memories they stuck with her of great halls filled with gods. Of a sky that could change from night to day in an instant. While she prayed for guidance about this two Sidereals came for her. They were sent by Nazri, one of each Faction, to retrieve the girl before she Exalted. Yet their arrival and her distrust of them spurred her to Exalt and to fight. It was only the appearance and intervention of the Golden Lord who stopped things from escalating too far.
Her time in Heaven was interesting to say the least. Nazri had allready arranged to be her Sifu himself much to the impotent anger of both other Factions. It was only thanks to his influence that her life has not been quietly ended. Her favor for and from the Golden Lord has made her a most powerful enemy. Hu Dai Liang, who has long feared that the Golden Lord would return to reclaim his position in the Crimson Panalopy of Victory, hates her with a passion believing her to be an agent sent to help bring about his return. She would have been sent on death missions by now if not for the working of her Sifu to safegaurd her.
She also has made another Ally while in Heaven. Ahlat having learned of her and of her problems with Hu Dai Liang found himself wishing to help and use her. Another tool in his long term plan to replace E-Naluna and to help support the Gold Faction Ahlat has been surprisingly kind and generous to her. She, though but a newly Exalted Sidereal, has allready attended several of his parties. In fact she has been quite taken with the powerful and driven god and though below his usual standard of lovers joins his bed more often then many suspect. Her daiklaive, the Horn of Tomorrow's Battles, was even a gift from him to her.
She herself on a personal level is quite sickened with the state of Heaven. She grew up with the shining ideal that was the Golden Lord and she sees even the many gods of her own Bureau as politicising and uncaring while Creation suffers. She knows it wasn't always this way and longs to spur Heaven on to something better and greater. She knows the Heaven-And-Earth Invitational is coming soon and is trying to arrange for some Solars to be invited. Not because she cares wether they rule or not but Heaven needs more events to break the stasis and momentum of corruption it currently endures. She is limited though in her ability and so finds herself performing favors for whoever she can in hopes of accumaliting some pull quickly while at the same time performing her duties for the Southern Convention to the best of her skills and being pulled from the many directions of the three powerful Gods interested in her life.
