<b>The Rush of Dawn's Light: Sanarin holds his blade at his side a moment as if it is sheathed then the blade of his sword acquires an edge of golden light. He springs out and his blade cuts through the air but rather then seeming to move its like a series of still frames with each frame him landing a new blow, contrails of golden motes where his blade was. This Combo uses Iron Whirlwind Attack, First Melee Excellency, Fire and Stones Strike, Hungry Tiger Technique and Heavenly Guardian Defense. Its minimum cost is 11m and 2 wp and gives 6 attacks with each attack having double damage dice from extra successes with the option of up to 10 dice extra on any attack depending on mote spending.

<b>Description
Dark boots and dark trim pants. A closely kept tight and shut gi jacket(Basically the top half of a karate gi) done in a light purple serves him as a shirt. The belt that keeps it closed is done in black silk. Over this he wears a long overcoat(Trenchcoat length, long sleaved, but has no buttons or a belt and is not meant to be closed but worn open instead) is done in a dark blue with a black stylized koi done on the back of it. This overcoat also has no collar or lapels in its design. He stands 6 foot 1 inch with trimed brown hair and calming brown eyes. Clean shaven when he can manage it he moves with a trained fighters way wasting little energy on extra useless movements when he walks. He carries no blade on himself.
History</b>
Sanarin Koi comes from the respect Koi family in the Haka region which borders on the eastern regions of Greyfalls. A land where the 8 great families each have an animal as their family name and constantly strive to be more respectable and honourable then the others. The whole area has its own code of what constitutes proper behavior which of course has different requirements for your peasent family or one of the 8 great families. His families most skilled swordsman(though his family would insist he was his generations greatest swordsman) and a decent hand at the ancient customs of flower arrangements his would likely have been a normal life.
He was young and along with several of his friends they all agreed to leave their homelands and go their own ways for a time before returning home. After a great deal of travel, years no less, he came to visit a recently discovered ruined floating pagoda found in the deeper parts of the forested hills that can be found along one of the major rivers that heads south of Great Forks. Scavanger Lords, or as he would call them, brigands who were looting the place. The main focus when he interupted them was their discussion on where to sell a golden daiklaive resting in a small shrine inside the pagoda. Rather then just leave it well alone something in his soul told him not to just let them take such a noble weapon for base needs such as theirs.
Skilled though he was he could not take on ten proficient men alone. That was when the Unconquered Sun took notice. His soul sparked with power and the blade flew to his grasp. One dawn caste against ten mortals with a daiklaive is much different then one man against ten and so he swiftly slew the lot of them. He of course knew the old stories about what had happened even if he didn't feel like a monster. Still he wanted to keep his family safe in case he became one and decided to depart from his home. He told them he was leaving and insisted he was visited by a dream vision and his destiny lay outside his lands boundries. Then he made his way into the world and when away from watching eyes tried to master his powers.
He had been gone for perhaps 6 months when his travels took him through a rather no name village within some no name kingdom within the Hundred Kingdoms area. There was to be a public hanging. A woman was to be hanged for her crimes. She was a mercenary. Part of a group called the Crimson Scarves for the red bandanas they all wore. Her groups leader was involved in a skirmish between the two nearest city states and had the bad idea of doing a small double cross. Well the bad idea of doing a small double cross and switching sides and ending up on the losing side. She was the only one they ended up taking alive.
As he watched she was lead up onto the gallows and did not resist as the prepared the noose around her neck. It was only after they had let her drop that things changed from just a normal hanging. The noose did not break her neck but instead just started to choke her. She struggled then and managed to get her arms free of the ropes on them and pull herself up by her own noose to stop from choking to death. Thats when the crowd stopped cheering at all. A silver fire burned about her as she tore the rope from gallows and knocked off the guards around her. Coincidentally there happened to be a small group of monks from the Realm on their way to a certain holy shrine in the east to Sextes Jylis. The Immaculates and their mortal followers would have killed her but then he intervened. Cutting down one and making enough of a commotion that the rest had to fall back and grabbing her hand he and she made their escape.
In thanks for his saving her life she swore to follow and serve him until she could properly return the favor. They are always on the move and have avoided but the eyes of the Hunt and the Pact as they moved. She has become his bodygaurd, a companion, a friend, an aide, a swordbearer and a fellow warrior side by side with him since then.
