Grindles can be found throughout Malfeas. Increadibly spineless and cowardly creatures they survive and exist to praise the mighty around them. For this and the constant noise they make with their grand horns they are permitted to exist without too many praying on them. They can turn even the smallest sounding detail into one of great importance and if there is not enough real things to praise they are more then happy to make things up.
Grindles look somewhat like a bipedal crow the size of a man that has no wings. They have arms to grip their single long, slowly curving horns. They dress in what finery they can and those in service of one demon or another decorate themselves in the sigils and marks of their master. Their eyes are pure white and they quickly form groups with each other when they can. Great communes of them praising this demon or that demon. Though most demon's do not like to think about it their constant sharing of information about demon's to better praise them also gives them a decent ammount of information on their faults and weaknesses.
Summoning: (Obscurity 2/2) Grindle's are summoned to make a Sorcerer sound mighty and great. One of the most commonly escaping demons they have been known to break out when there is a parade all for the glory of a person or group. A certain kind of enchanted banner can keep this from happening if it is with the parade and even in the second age only the most foolish or unwise leader permits such activities without one. One ordered to not use its horn and be silent gains a point of Limit a day.
