Typically he wears a shenti and leather sandles. He will change attire as appropriate depending on the climate he finds himself in. Oddly enough the more extreme the more likely he can get away with wearing his simple attire. His skin is a darker tone of one from the south but not the deep black of some. Often he will carry with him a spear for fighting though as his essence improves that will be thrown aside for the Malfeas ability to make his own.
Coin was born to simple peasent folk. It was hoped that he would pick up after his father as a merchant but he had little patience and little skill for it. He was however very fit and very fast. Amongst his people messangers were runners as there was little in the way of horses. His speed was countered by his curiousity and it was only thanks to his talents that he would be only a little more than average. Yet he had high hopes of working perhaps for the great King or Priests of his land.
Yet this same curiosity is what paved the way for his downfall. Entrusted with an important message that could have meant the difference between civil war and peace he decided to take a shortcut. He got lost though, turned around and slowed down. The message came too late and the uprising could not be stopped except by force. Thrown into prison, shackled to a wall and left to rot for his failure.
It was then a great lion of green jade came to him. How dare they lock him up? Was he not trying to help? Had he not sought out to do the best he could do and this is how they punished him? There were others who would understand how hard he tried and that his dedication to causes would not be punished so. All he had to do was say yes. So he did and never looked back. When they came down to him days later he burst from his jade cocoon and broke out to make his way to the waiting land of the green sun.
