Cinvis would be most easily be described as a blonde haired Conan. He stands at 6'6" and his form is one of rippling muscles and lean hard strength. Battle and caste scars and tattoos mark his body without detracting anything from his appearance for most of them are almost invisable due to his increadible healing. He wears a simple loincloth, hide boots and carries no weapons for he has no care to. If one looks into his eyes its fairly easy to spot that his eyes are cat eyes and he moves with a definit feline presence.

Cinvis grew up in a tribe in the east, part of the Great Rock Clan. They were so named because the tribe was built around a great stone obelisk. Markings in Old Realm covered it but no one could properly read it. The tribe had no shamen per se, there wasn't really a great spirit presence that required one though they did have a medicine man who handled many of the aspects a Shamen takes up but no chiminage.

He was a skilled hunter and popular with everyone. His father died when he was young but his mother was there for him and his younger brother and older sister. His life was fairly normal. He hunted, tested himself and found someone to love. At 18 he was going to be a father but after she misscarried it was seen as a sign they were not meant to be and broke up.

At 19 he was away from the tribe and became the victem of a fae nobles hunt. If he could previde enoug challenge the fae would let him go. Though he knew his chances were almost nothing against a fae cataphract and his fell gryphon steed he was not going to just give up and put his all into escape. In the end though, he was trapped against a cliffedge with the raging river below. To jump meant almost certain death, to stay was sure death on the fae's spear.

So he jumped, and fell, and the fae laughed. He pulled himself from the river, barely alive but the fae had not won. Had not caught him. That was when Luna appeared and he was reborn. Shattered from the fall he was remade under Luna's touch and his roar announced a new child of Luna to the countryside.

That region of the river was part of the territory claimed by Iron Turtle, a powerful and respected No Moon of the Silver Pact. Mostly a solitary type, he lived in a hidden city that through ancient spells everyone had forgotten about and could not find unless you knew the secret. It did not take him long to find the young lunar and he set to work training the boy hard.

Cinvis clearly had a warriors spirit and drive, the urge to push his physical limits and test himself and prove his worth. Iron Turtle had spent a long time becoming friends with many spirits and introduced his young protege to the Cougar Avatar. The two became friends, likely due to the Cougar being Cinvis' totem.

After his training and tattooing was finished Iron Turtle asked a favor of him, to return to the Cougar Avatar's lair and borrow the Drum of Oktanuk for him. A powerful artifact that could shape and create illusions he didn't explain why he needed it but in partial repayment for all he had done Cinvis readily agreed.

The Drum had been stolen by something though and so with the Cougar Avatar's adopted daughter Sheenu, a zenith solar, they left to follow the trail. On the way they came to a village, the shamen of which was also a solar of the zenith caste called Aditya. More amazing though was that when the two zeniths met their anima's flared, each one completeing the others. It seemed that somehow this solar spark had been broken into two. Also at that moment when that was revealed Cinvis' eternal vow returned in force and he was visited by some memories of the past.

This is merely the beginning of his adventure.

Plot Hooks

  • The thief clearly has a dark plan for the drum and serves either one of the dead or a demon prince. A group of players might fall prey to some trick of plan or even the power of the drum and need some new allies.
  • The obelisk turns out to be a stone of demonic energies and transforms the village into twisted servents of the Yozi. The players finish killing the servents of the Yozi and shattering the stone only for Cinvis and the two solars to arrive and see what they have done. Can they save themself from the lunar's wrath long enough to tell him the truth?
  • Those seeking out lost cities and ruins might learn rumors of the hidden city Cinvis was trained at and need to seek him out to learn of where it is. He doesn't know the trick to get into it though, and they will need to hope that Iron Turtle finds them and proves friendly. Done well their will be a great deal they can learn and acquire from this lost land.
