Bahamut
Description
Bahamut is a huge, flying, nuclear-fusion-breathing dragon, and he is not to be trifled with. His slender body is covered with purplish-black scales and he has long legs and forelimbs that end in huge, cruel-shaped claws. Most impressive are his two gigantic wings, which stretch out for a wingspan of 30 feet. Bahamut’s reptilian face has a cruel, proud sneer on it, and his eyes glow white-purple. His scythed tail whips through the air as he flies. (I’ve obviously stolen this character from Final Fantasy games … again, like Grograman, homage seemed strangely necessary to me!)
Bahamut’s pearl is purple with hues of orange that glow and swirl around. When summoned, the pearl erupts into flame and an arc of fire issues out of it, as big as a rainbow, to some point in the sky. Two rounds later that point in the sky explodes in an unimaginably huge eruption of fire and energy, raining down sparks and smoking flames, and in the middle of it, flapping his wings, is Bahamut.

Other Notes
Essence: 6\\ Essence Pool: 60\\ Bahamut costs 60 motes, 1 willpower and 1 HL of lethal damage as the pearl literally erupts into flame, singing its wielder’s body.
Bahamut can make two claw attacks and a bite attack without multiple action penalties per round if he is fighting on the ground.
Bahamut can fly through the air at about 60 miles per hour. When flying, he can only make his tail slash and breath attacks. If he hovers to attack with his tail, this puts him in hand-to-hand range for leaping exalts but probably not for mortals. He has a 25-die dodge pool while flying.
Bahamut can also use the following attack, airborne or on the ground.\\ Mega-Flare (15 motes, 1 Willpower, 1 HL agg): While flying, Bahamut spends a full two rounds inhaling to charge this blast up and cannot dodge or parry (he can hover though). On the third round he unleashes an immense blast of energy on his initiative affecting everyone within a 15-foot radius as the ground itself erupts upwards in a tower of purple and orange flame when struck by the energy Bahamut breathes. Bahamut cannot make any actions when he is powering this attack up. This is an archery attack (Spd 21, Acc 18); however, it can’t be parried and it can only be dodged at a large difficulty (+3 to +6) since it affects a 30x30 foot area. Mega-Flare does a base damage of 30L. This attack will melt mortals, vegetation and pretty much anything not made out of the 5 magical materials (including armor and weapons), and it will leave a smoking 30-foot wide crater on the ground.
For such a large dragon, Bahamut is incredibly agile and hard to hit; he often uses Random Current Maneuver to help him dodge in the air. Fighting him alone will be a very difficult battle even for the most experienced solars. When Bahamut’s last health level is depleted, he explodes in a pillar of flame crackling with purple energy that lights up the area for miles. Anyone standing near the pillar will take several dice of lethal damage. The pillar swirls back into the pearl, leaving a large, smoking hole in the ground.
