Charm Revamps
So far, there's just the one, but I'm sure more will end up disagreeing with me.
Abyssal Charms
Abyssal Survival:
Essence Engorgement Technique:
There's a lot of discussion about what this charm does and doesn't allow, but just for the record, I'll post how I'd handle it in my games, if it ever came up.
- The Blood Feast pool gained through this charm is, by default, empty, and may only be replenished through feeding on the living.
- Motes stolen by weapons or essence-stealing charms go to this pool first, then personal, then peripheral.
- Motes in the Blood Feast pool cannot be used for committment of Artifacts.
- Blood Feast motes, swirling in the ephemeral "stomach" of the Abyssal, are burned first when peripheral expenditures are made.
- Motes in the Blood Feast pool do not last indefinately. If the Abyssal doesn't use the motes within a week, they begin to "bleed off," causing the loss of 1 mote every other day. This loss occurs at sunrise. This does not affect Abyssals currently in the Underworld or in Shadowlands during periods other than Calibration.

I agree with all of those except the last one:) I wouldn't be averse to "any periphereal motes spent come from the Blood Feast first, and only come from your natural pool once you've exhausted the feast pool" however. -CrownedSun
I like your thoughts on making them burn first. See? I even added it! But I'm still diggin on them bleeding away. - Ashande
If your attached to that, I'd make them bleed away somewhat slower than one per day. At least put some delay on it, so that the Abyssal can keep his motes for some time. Remember, extras (the most common type of food for Abyssals) only give you 3 motes per. You have to kill 10 of them to grab 30 motes. -CrownedSun
Point taken. Better? - Ashande
