This first age cookbook was used by Terrestrial chefs to feed the increasingly bizarre and rapacious appetites of the Solar Deliberative. As tastes grew more decadent, even the Exalted had to slave to come up with new sumptuous dishes. This was their greatest aid, created by the Head Chef of the Deliberative. Listed in its pages is every recipe ever conceived of. To activate it, you must spend 2 motes of Essence. You may then instantly find a way to make anything into a palatable and nutritious dish. This doesn't mean it'll be easy. If all you have is three vials of coral snake venom and a box of nails, you may need up to five successes or more on a Craft (Cooking) roll, but this book at least allows the possibility of trying. An additional mote may be spent to have the book read the recipe aloud to you as you cook, in the form of a poem. This latter effect was probably built in for busy Exalted chefs who wished to keep their hands free. The book is written (and spoken) in Old Realm.

Legends tell of the Seven Perfect Dishes. Recipes for dishes so sumptuous, so delicious, so awe-inspiring that the Maiden of Serenity herself would give up a turn at the Games of Divinity to eat a meal of them. They are also said to have special magical effects on those who eat them. Unfortunately, the seven pages containing the Seven Perfect Dishes were removed some time during or after the Usurpation. They are thought lost, but the book is amazingly durable and the pages must be at least as durable. So they may still exist in Creation...
