Rousing the Dragons Breath
Cost: 15 motes, 1 Willpower, 1 Experience Point Duration: Instant Type: Simple Min. Lore: 4 Min Essence: 3 Prereqs: Power-Investing Prana (EPG 1st Ed., Pg 123)
This charm can be used to empower the children of the Dragon-blooded to allow them to take their second breath. If the Elemental dragons do not smile upon them, the scions of Sol Invictus do. The recipient of the charm may immediately roll to see if they Exalt adding the Solars Essence score to their original modifier on the roll to Exalt. This charm can be used more than once per target, but sometimes if the target does not Exalt after a handful of attempts, they are usually left un-ascended as some believe that fate has decided that they are not worthy if such attempts fail.

The Solars of the First-Age did not always wish to dedicate so much time to empowering their troops if they failed to Exalt, so using this charm they were able to help assure that the children of the Elemental Dragons would be able to breed true more often. With this charm the Exalt may impart increased levels of breeding to the recipient by attuneing them further to their Aspect. This however is a somewhat ritualistic process, and must be performed in an area of great elemental power. To increase breeding of a dragon-blooded an uncapped demense of the new breeding level must be used (1-6). For every level of breeding the solar wishes to impart beyond what the target has costs 5xp per level which can be paid by either participant or both sharing the cost.
Notes: To determine if a mortal carries Terrestrial bloodlines within them using All Encompasing Sorcerer's Sight make a Perception + Occult roll to try and percieve the tiny traceries of Dragon-blooded ancestry inside the target as an extended action. 4 Successes are required to tell whether the target carries Terrestrial potential or not, 6 successes will give you an approximate amount of their potential (usually read as breeding, but consult the sidebar on Page 282 of Exalted: The Dragon-blooded for better descriptions on the roll to Exalt for Dragon-bloods)

This was something that came up during a campaign about thoughts on the Solar standing Dragonblooded army, how powerful they are, and how efficently they can maintain their numbers, amoung other reasoning. So after a little tinkering and spitballing our group came up with these charms to boost up Dragonbloods. We figure such charms would have existed in the first age, but may have been forgotten, or left unlearned due to the rebellion agaisnt the solars. - ArabianNinja
