The character abandons some of his essential humanity, becoming for a time more of a creature of the Labryinth. He gains essential mastery over wholely unnatural means of locomotion, benefiting from the effects of both Crouching Gargoyle Stance and Mist Over Ice for the rest of the scene without cost. In addition, his steps are light and quick, and he moves at double his normal movement rate for the rest of the scene. This increase in movement rate counts toward the maximum multiplier he can attain using Shadow Races the Light. In addition, the Abyssal demonstrates a mastery over his movements that is both casual and quite impressive, gaining his Essence in bonus dice to all Athletics rolls for the scene.
