This hearthstone is shaped like an unopened bud of brilliant green. When left in contact with a nonmagical item, that item will 'heal' any damage it has sustained. Rips in clothing mend, scars on wooden furniture vanish, and chips of stone or metal will fill in. This 'healing' does not work on artifacts. However, if the Renewal Gem is fitted into a hearthstone slot of an artifact with a maintainence requirement, the artifact will cease to require maintainence until attunement is lost, or the stone is removed, as parts that wear down or run out grow back just as quickly. This power is lost if the gem is used to power the artifact, as usual, though a much rarer 4 dot version of this stone will continue to provide the hearthstone benefit /and/ provide power to a magitech device.

Power Gem Manse **

This hearthstone is a crystal the size of a man's thumb that is filled with a radiance that seems almost to burst out. It provides essence to the bearer as if it were a three dot hearthstone (though the manse provides no more essence than one would expect). It can also be used to provide the same amount of power (l3) to an artifact it is being used to power.
