I like the tier-idea, I was kinda worried about "Elusive Scent" as it was. Though if "Falling Petal" is gonna be 2nd-tier, I'm gonna consider upping it just a touch, like just do the math differently or something and up the cost by a mote.\\

I think you got the requirements just right, but I was kinda more maybe thinking something not so combat for "Body of Air." Maybe?\\

One more thought, do you think a reflexive dex+stealth difficulty of the target's wits would weaken "Ellusive Scent" enough to make it 1st tier? I'm fine with making it 2nd tier but it was just an idea.\\

Yeah, I think that change would probably make Elusive Scent a first-tier, though it's borderline and I'd wanna playtest it maybe. As for Body of Air, a good bird-themed jumping charm would actually probably fit the style a little better, I just tend to forget that MA does stuff other than combat when I'm designing the Charms =) - SilverMeerKat

Actually, the form does a lot as it is. You might consider adding Essence, instead of Dex, to the soaks. Now that I really step back and look at it, That's a pretty powerful form (not too powerful, but very). Of course, it doesn't let you deal or parry lethal without weapons, which helps the balance, but I'd say it does plenty right now. It might be more in keeping with the feel of the style, though, if it let you buy successes on dodge and attack rolls, instead of parry and attack. - SilverMeerKat

Ok, my suggestions would be: \\ 1) Make Body of Air Method the first charm, and have the other two be second-tier (Elusive Scent Prana in particular seems a bit powerful for a first-tier charm). \\ 2) Be explicit about Falling Petal Attitude - you figure your soak as per the normal rules, with your stamina being your Stam+MA+Essence, right? Maybe give an example. (I know it's nitpicky) \\ 3) I have something of an idea for Body of Air Method. here goes... \\ Body of Air Method

Cost: 3 motes/die
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 3
Minimum Martial Arts: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisites: None
The character lightens her body as she makes a small hop away from an attack, cushioning the blow of a weapon or negating less damaging attacks. For every three motes the Exalt pays before soak, she converts one die of Lethal damage to Bashing damage or negates one die of Bashing damage from a single attack. This charm my only be activated once per turn, and the Exalt may not convert or negate more total dice from one attack than her Dexterity. The character becomes as light as a feather when using this charm, and must roll for knockdown at difficulty 3 if successfully struck by the attack the charm targets.

Hope that helps =) - SilverMeerKat

Yeah, I think that change would probably make Elusive Scent a first-tier, though it's borderline and I'd wanna playtest it maybe. I'm also tempted to stick something else into the Form. Wadda you think?\\ Also, I'm gonna write an example for "Elusive Scent." ~*~Braydz~*~

I think that by the time you get to the Form, the Style should be getting more pro-active, so I'm gonna keep the parry.\\ ~*~[Braydz]~*~

There has also been a suggestion made that "Body of Air" by made to last only a single turn.\\ I think I'm gonna go with it, actually.\\ ~*~Braydz~*~

-Hey, comment on the style as a whole. I like the feel I'm starting to get from it, and the vision of a character who is jumping off walls and peoples heads and walls and dashing in to strike. I don't have any really set critiques, but, I'd suggest that the way to facilitate that sort of thing would be to make charms which have essence rnds or scene duration, and much reflexiveness, like you done. This is turning into a big compliment. I like it.\\ -Morpheus

Way cool. Thank you.\\ I've been considering seeing if I could drop some of the activation costs. Looking through the Solar and Lunar Charms, I'm seeing just how expensive mine are.\\ Though admittedly, I've also been seeing just how bad-ass mine are compared to the Charms in the books.\\ ~*~Braydz~*~
