The Silver Pact

Nature of the Pact

I tend to run the Pact like a big good ol' boy network for Lunars. It sort of serves the function Lookshy does (coordinated defense against hostile forces), but is much less militaristic and much more distributed. Individual Lunar heroes do their thing, and don't ask the Pact for PERMISSION to do so, but do certainly inform the Pact and the elders what they are doing. -- BillGarrett

Potential Assets

Things the Pact can bring to the table in terms of power.

  • Multiple barbarian nations, beastman tribes, etc. throughout the Threshold (numbers?)
  • Alliance with spirits of nature and other independent gods or elementals
  • Access to the abandoned ruins and Manses left in the Threshold

Discussions

Is the Silver Pact a good thing?

That depends. Are you asking from the perspective of "a good thing in MY game?", "a good thing from some moral perspective", "a good thing for the future of Creation", or what?

Is membership necessary for a Lunar character?

Canonical developer answer is "No" - you can play a tattooed Lunar who simply doesn't participate in the Pact.
