Oddities of the Northeast

The Citadel of Bagrash Köl

In the cold plains to the north and east, the ruined citadel of the ancient sorcerer-king Bagrash Köl stretches to the heavens. Once, its towers were so tall that gates had to be built into their tops to allow the moon to pass. Now, the tops of the towers are broken, and the fallen tower-shards form a labyrinth of living space and broken stone that resemble hills at the foot of an unassailable mountain. The descendants of Bagrash Köl’s followers still live there, though in the absence of their master’s power, their civilization is low, their magic weak and their culture barbarous. - Quendalon

The Green Sky

Where the East and North meet, there is a place of green skies. These green skies are actually masses of plants that hover in the upper air. Whole societies of mortals, elementals and spirits inhabit the realms of the Green Sky. They have neither metal nor stone, using wood and other plant matter in their place, and have little knowledge or understanding of fire. - Quendalon
