Requires: Strength 5; Commitment: 15

The Gatling Gun of Eternal Dawn was the Ultimate Weapon of the Solar Deliberative. It was used only once, during the First Age, when the Ebon Dragon temporarily broke through into Creation. The GGED was the only thing that turned it away. The GGED is a massive gatling gun built from orichalcum, made to be weilded by only the most mighty of Solars. Its sorcerous components are many and highly complex, and no one in the present age has the capability to maintain it in working order.

The GGED fires not firedust or bullets, but Dawn Caste Solar Exalts. Up to 20 Dawn Caste Solars can be fired from the GGED every turn. These Solars are created out of thin air by the GGED. Each is an independent and intelligent entity with all the powers of the Dawn Caste. They are as powerful as starting characters. Each Dawn Caste Solar that the GGED creates come equipped with an orichalcum grand daiklaive and an orichalcum breastplate. The Solars may immediately launch an attack as they are shot at their foe, and will continue to fight on once they have picked themselves off the ground.

The life of these synthetic Solars is often short and brutal. They wake to conciousness as they are hurtling through the air, usually directly at some kind of horrific foe. They do not think to question why. Theirs is but to do and die. If they should happen not to die, then they will dissolve into misty Essence and return to the GGED, to be fired again at some point in the future.

Comments

Not to be confused with the Gatling Gun of Eternal Eclipse, which launches a barrage of charming, handsome devils who ineffectually scream, "Can't we talk about this?" - LordAuran

Lol. I haven't been quite this amused in awhile. Nice. - Jai
