Virtue Flaw: Inescapable Guilt (Slightly modified from Ikselam's virtue flaw, to fit Veil's concept better.)

The character's mind buckles under the weight of her own terrible deeds. When her limit breaks, she will be tormented by hideous visions and ghastly apparitions, trapped inside a mental hell of her own creation. She may see and feel blood dripping from her hands, witness friends' faces tranform into the lifeless masks of slain innocents, or be haunted by the ghostly forms of those she has murdered. This limit break lasts for a number of days equal to the character's Conviction. During this time, she is at a -2 penalty to all actions, and will to all outward appearances be completely insane.

Trigger: The character commits an atrocity that goes against his personal moral code.

Artifacts

Ravenous Shrikes (Artifact ●●●)
A kit of five identical throwing knives, made of of ghostly white gold orichalcum. The thin, razor-sharp double edged blades are balanced by a small, elegant handle who sport five round holes, optimizing the knives for throwing. Each comes with a sheath matching the knives' size, wearable on any sort of strap, belt or garter on the user's body.

The knives have one supernatural property - A few seconds after they reach their destination and stop their course, they dissolve in a haze of white smoke, and rematerialize in their respective sheath on the owner's body. (Mechanically, the knives have the returning trait, which means they return to the owner at the end of each turn - the difference is that they return to their sheaths instead of returning to the owner's hand.)

Garments of the Flawless Tragedian (Artifact ●●)
These garments, when not worn and without essence commited to them, look like some very simple clothing - a simple pair of dark grey trousers and a fitted white shirt with lose sleeves, and simple black shoes. When worn together, and essence is commited to them, however, the garments have the uncanny power of being able to immitate other pieces of clothing, matching the looks, feel, and cut of the vestments the user desires. It can transform into suits, robes, work clothes, evening clothes, and allow multilayering (i.e. taking the shape of a suit with a coat, for example). The shoes can change shape the same way, immitating other types of footwear.

The Garments cannot, however, emulate jewelry, other than buttons or clasps on suits and the like. They also must reproduce clothing that is largely made of mortal fabric, and cannot mimic vestments made out of improbable materials (anything made out of Gossamer, for example, of clothing made out of fire, ice, smoke, or any esoteric garments worn by some denizen of Yu-Shan and the sort). The garments are also limited to reproducing clothing that would amount to Resource 4 or lower. Articles of Clothing whose cost would be above Ressources 4 are simply above the Garments' ability to emulate.

Commitment: 3

Whispering earrings (Artifact ●) - (From the Exalted Wiki, created by Ikselam)
These plain hoops can be made of any of the magical materials, and come in pairs. When a single mote is committed to each (not necessarily by the person wearing the earring), the wearer of one earring can clearly hear anything the wearer of its twin says, no matter how quietly. The earrings have a range of up to 5 miles.

Whispering Earrings are most commonly composed of blue jade or soulsteel. All sorts are manufactured following the same basic procedure; the earrings are forged and enchanted as a single piece, and only broken apart at the very end, so that they behave as though they were one object. For this reason, the soulsteel version imparts a somewhat disturbing agonized overtone to the relayed words, as such earrings are fragments of a single soul which has been sliced apart.

The cost of artifact 1 is per pair.
