Description

Mindori is a sharp contrast to Chesu in almost every way imaginable. Where Chesu is tall and broad, Mindori is short and wiry-thin. Where Chesu follows Sharlu out of a desire for combat, Mindori follows Sharlu for herself. Love is not permitted to monks, so Mindori does not call it love. Duty, however, is a fine word, and so Mindori is exceptionally dutiful toward his leader. Mindori is both likable and handsome, but he tends to remain apart from his Hunt, acting as support rather than on the front lines. He will not hesitate, however, to protect Sharlu, no matter the cost.

Combat Notes

Power-Up (2 turns, 15 motes, 1 Willpower)
Wood Dragon Form, Wood Aspect anima, Death-Pattern Sensing Attitude
Opening Move
Enthralling Blow Attack, 8m+1WP (see E:DB pg 261), against "most dangerous" target, in Mindori's opinion. This is too expensive and too random to try multiple times, but the initial attack might be good for an edge.
Typical Offense
Two bow attacks (Acc 15, 14), enhanced with Soul-Marking Strike, 3m/attack (E:DB, pg 261). Will use target arrows on any medium or heavier armor, frog crotch arrows on unarmored targets, will leave lightly-armored targets to other members of the Hunt by preference but will use target arrows on them if needed. First choice for targets are other archers, as Mindori is aware that they are the greatest threat to him.
Will not typically use Soul Mastery, 10m+1HL (E:DB pg 263), unless odds have shifted substantially against the Hunt or if Sharlu is threatened. Given that he needs two turns to perform the attack, the timing is critical but hard to judge. He will attempt to target the opponent who is most damaging to the group overall or who is attacking Sharlu, and will spend a Willpower to channel Conviction (or Compassion if trying to save Sharlu) for the attack.
Typical Defense
For close-quarters attackers, will rely on Death-Pattern Sensing Attitude (see E:DB pg 263), and ranged attackers are dodged with the Windhands Gemstone (Exalted, pg 338). If he takes damage, he will regenerate it through his Form, but that is usually too slow to be helpful.
Other Notes
As one of Mindori's enhancements comes from Sharlu, the powered-up stats of his attacks and defenses above includes his Martial Arts specialty automatically.
