Glory of Bountiful Resilience

Target: One touched target
Cost: 10 motes

When this spell is cast, waves of brilliant green-gold Essence sweep over the target, finally concentrating and being absorbed into his eyes, heart and head. For the duration of the spell's effect, his eyes and hair will have a green-gold tint to them, which can be identified by savants familiar with the spell.

This spell has one of two effects, based on whether it is cast on a mortal or on an Exalt, god or other supernatural being. Mortals (and others with only a mortal's level of healing or vigor) targeted by the Glory of Bountiful Resilience gain the ability to heal, resist poison, infection and disease and soak lethal damage as though they were Exalts. For other characters, the effects are more impressive: for the duration of the spell, the character adds the sorcerer's Essence to his dice pools to resist poison, infection or disease, gains +2L/+2B soak (this is an enhancement to natural soak, and stacks with armor) and all health levels heal as though they were Bruised levels. Actual Bruised levels heal in 1/10th the usual time. These effects are explicitly allowed to combine with other effects, such as Body-Mending Meditation, that decrease healing times, but have no effect on abilities that heal Health Levels outright.

Regardless of target, the benefits of this spell last for the sorcerer's Essence in days. As with any other magic, aggravated damage may not be healed with this spell.
