A Fractured Mirror: A Tale of the Bureau of Destiny
Month of Resplendant Wood, Realm Year 176, Second Age of Creation
It has been nearly two hundred years since the Great Contagion and the Balorian Crusade ravaged the people of Creation. The lands were shattered, and the world came within a hair's breadth of its last. But Creation survived, as it has survived hundreds of times before, and slowly, gently, the lands began to heal.
Now, though, events are in motion. The sorcerer Bagrash Kol has found the Eye of Autochthon, a relic of unimaginable power. He has spent years building an empire that now stretches across the north, and he threatens the Realm with his very presence. Is he a sign of a new, greater power, or of a darkness that will engulf the world? And what will the rest of Creation do as titans clash and struggle?
