::Would it count as an error if the Charm falls between two other charms - the preceding charm is 4 MA and 2 Ess reqs, the following charm is 5 MA and 3 Ess, and the charm in betweeen is 4 MA and 5 Ess. That's...rather clearly a mistake, I'd think - that is, as you said, it's the reverse, in which a charm is immediately followed by a lower-Essence charm. ~ BerserkSeraph

:::I agree; the preceding charm in that case is irrelevant, but any charm with lower prereqs than any of its own prereqs has to be in error.  --[[Toram]]

This must be an error - page 75, Grasping Claw Method. Essence 5 has to be an error, since the preceeding Mantis Form is Essence 2. Also, a Simple disarm at +MA dice for 3 motes? Mighty weak at that level, if you ask me, but this might be something for a house rule. I myself have made it a MA 5, Essence 3, Supplemental charm that counts extra successes on a parry towards a disarm attempt. Resplendence

I don't have that book, but an Essence 5 charm following an Essence 2 charm isn't clearly an error (though the reverse would be). I'd suggest moving the house rule to FixTheSolarCharmTrees. --Toram
