The Luminary
A creature of Society controlled by Desire, one who drinks from the Cup with the Staff at her feet. Luminaries are bright and beautiful and their presence warps the normal operations of the court. They exalt those around them, making them feel wanted and pretty, making them need to feel that touch again. Then, they ruthlessly use their new slaves to sweep away all resistance to their power. An example of a Luminary would be the king's mistress who orchestrates court politics through sex and desire.
