Nature

Infernal Exalted possess the Natures they had in mortal life, as an allusion to autonomy by the Yozis. However, they tend to focus on the negative aspects of each Nature and some are certainly more common than others. Of those listed in the main Exalted rulebook, Bravo, Conniver, Gallant, Hedonist, Leader, Rebel, Survivor, Thrillseeker and Visionary are most favoured, although any are theoretically possible.

Furthermore, the following new natures are particularly commonplace amongst these fiendish temperaments:

Anarchist The works of others are reminders of your own insignificance and boundaries on your freedom. You seek to cast down such structures, so that your actions might go unpunished and your own successes look fine by comparison. In the process, you often ruin the legacy of others and hurt innocents. Gain Willpower whenever your actions bring ruin to the hard and long works of others

Cavalier You believe that the fastest and most obvious solution is the best one. Other people are far too slow and cumbersome to respond to the demands of the present. Relying on surprise and fortune to make your schemes work, you often suffer many failures. Then again, you seldom care about them. Gain Willpower whenever your quick and heedless action resolves a situation to your benefit

Cynic People are hopeless fools, and the sooner they realise this the better. The faster you can dim their hopes and show them the error of their ways, the faster they will realise your way of thinking. Your words are designed to hurt and belittle rather than help, and you are proud of it. Gain Willpower whenever you undermine someone by pointing out their weaknesses

Infernal Paragon You are as the Yozis, a champion of revenge and suffering. You delight in what you have become, and further the interests of your masters without need for demand for their wishes are your own. You inspire fear and love in those you meet, work incessantly toward bettering your situation, and are quick to respond to any slight against your person. you are cruel to those you can be cruel to, and obliging to those you can't. You never forget a grudge, and delight in the perversion and corruption of all things. You are an archvillain without peer, and all best remember that. No doubt such unmitigated evil with draw great attention to yourself. Gain Willpower whenever you bring suffering to Heaven or further the cause of the Yozis

Joker Humour is a weapon much like any other, and your own grasp of wit is something to be used to your advantage. A dark joke here or there can set people at odds, put a morbid edge on things or inure people to suffering and pain. You often offend or belittle others in your jokes, however, and this may come back to haunt you. Gain Willpower whenever your humour darkens the mood, raises tension, or makes people laugh at suffering

Malefactor All thinking beings are unworthy of existence and living on means they do not deserve. You actively delight in seeing people endure suffering and having a hand in the dissolution of their achievements. Such a vicious temperament often brings you into conflict with others. Malefactors don't regain Willpower merely for injuring or killing someone – such methods are far too kind. Gain Willpower whenever you have tangible proof that your actions have harmed others

Provocateur You enjoy seeing the conflict between people, the dizzying myriad of factions within factions that result in petty grievances spiral into conflict. Such delightful poetry in motion is something you promote and encourage, although you risk bringing wrath upon yourself for your hand in matters. Gain Willpower whenever you incite two parties into conflict with each other

Triumphalist You win, others lose. That's been your motto ever since the word go. In the game of life, every step ahead of the rest you can make is a victory, but so is every step back you make an opponent take. If people survive your attentions, they are likely to return the favour. Gain Willpower whenever another person suffers in your place

Usurper You hate being bossed around. You hate others being bossed around. Wouldn't it be better if we told only ourselves what to do? You are no idle person, and actively seek to cast down the powerful. Your contrariness is often harmful or unproductive, and you often bring yourself to harm by your efforts. Gain Willpower whenever you undermine another person's authority

Feedback

This nature was created by myself (TheHollow) and my ST for my character, I'll explain afterwards.

Durdenist Beauty is something that fills Creation, which itself is beautiful as well. Life itself is a beautiful gift, handed down from divinity. Love is beauty, and beauty is love. Either you hate that beauty because you can never be as beautiful as other things, or you don't want anything else in or out of Creation to rival your beauty. Break it. Burn it. Unmake it. Twist it horribly so that none may appreciate it any longer. Gain Willpower whenever you destroy something beautiful (Appearance 4+, or two Willpower for App 6, higher up to ST discretion).

The Durdenist nature was created for a Chosen of Battles character that I'm playing, gained after he Exalted. We had to make it up on our own simply because no WW books had any natures that remotely fit his new goals, and it seems a good enough nature for an Infernal, seeing as the character is now one hell bent on the complete and utter destruction of Creation.
