Tribe/Element

Choose which Tribe your Kitsune was born into. This will determine her Element, her Favored Attribute, and her Patron Deva. (If your Kitsune chooses the Gypsy Clan, skip this step.)

Attributes

Prioritize your Attribute Categories: Physical, Social, and Mental. Distribute 6 dots among your primary category, 5 among your secondary category, and 4 among your tertiary category.

Clan

Choose which Clan your Kitsune will join. This will determine her Favored Abilities and her role in Kitsune society.

Virtues

Distribute 6 dots among your Virtues, marking one of them as Primary. Each Virtue begins with one automatic dot, and no Virtue may ever be higher than your Primary Virtue.

Abilities

Mark Stealth and Shape (Your Element) as Racial Abilities. Note your Clan's Abilities and mark them as well. Then choose two other Abilities and mark them as Favored.
Distribute 25 Ability dots, 13 of which must be from marked Abilities. Marked Abilities may be raised to 4 and Unfavored Abilities may be raised to 3 without spending Bonus Points. Racial and Favored Abilities must have at least one dot each. If you are starting at Essence 3 or higher, you must have a minimum of 2 dots each in Awareness, Dodge, Occult, and Stealth, one dot in Shape and each Clan Ability, and one dot in either Archery, Martial Arts, Melee, or Thrown.
No Ability may be raised higher than its associated Virtue.
