Artifact ••••

Once long ago there was a Lunar who gloried in battle. She used many weapons in his lifetime, but foremost amongst them was a plain and simple Moonsilver daiklaive which had been the very first real weapon in her hand, a the first weapon handed over to the Exalted when the People of Adamant first armed them. She just favoured the weapon, and was most familiar and comfortable with it at her side and in her hand. She used it in countless battles, untold numbers falling before it in the millenia she lived. During the Ursupation, she charged to the Realm not to save her mate but instead to engage a new and innumberable foe. She fought on a field west of the Imperial Mountain for 9 days and nights fighting against the army that was sent against her. In the end she fell, her blade she threw with all her strength and charms across the inner sea to bury itself land and await a new user in the east.

It was after that battle the weapon gained its name. After so much blood coating it, so many deaths and sufferings caused by it the weapon was changed by events. It now slowly, dripped or cried blood. It would just well up from the blade. The spirit of the weapon was now alive and conscious. For those able to see dematerialized spirites will see the form of a weeping woman always near the blade.

This weapon has been moved around throughout the many years, carried by one person or another, further building the sorrow in the blade.

Whenever someone is hit by this weapon, the feel the suffering that it has caused throughout its long long use. For the rest of the scene the difficulty of any action they take is at +1 difficulty for each dot of compassion they possess. Furthermore, the spirit doesn't want to harm anyone anymore, and though she can do nothing to stop someone from using the weapon, as a urge to get them to not attack with it the wielder can freely change bonus points from accuracy to bonus points to defense.

Should someone destroy the spirit temporarily the weapon returns to being a normal, plain orichalcum daiklaive until she has reformed after a lunar month. Should she be destroyed forever the weapon will break, forever being unuseable from that moment on, the parts ruining any weapon they are forged into from that day forth.
