Glorious Armor of the Undimming Sun

Artifact 2

This armor was forged in the First Age and hidden in the walls of a ruined Manse, deep in the Threshold. Each individual lame of the lamellar was made of Orichalcum alloy and inscribed with an Old Realm rune of intimidation, majesty or terrible wrath. As it was laced together, prayers were said over each piece, binding wishes of glory into it. The final piece was then worn by the Priest-King Ashmar in the final days of the First Age. A warning has been left embedded in the armor though, Ashmar was poisoned by a Sidereal posing as a servant in the first days of the Usurpation.

System: The Glorious Armor provides 10 Lethal and 8 Bashing soak (including the bonus for Orichalcum construction) and an Exalt must commit 10 motes to attune the armor. Additionally, while it is worn, anyone attempting to strike the wearer must succeed on a Valor roll. They do not need to make another test until the end of the scene. This is not compatible with the Dawn Caste Anima ability.
