The martial arts forms specific to the Alchemicals, as well as ideas as to the nature of these martial art forms.
Alchemical Martial Arts (Darzoni)
In my own opinion, it seems that any martial arts styles developed by the Alchemical Exalted would have to be intrinstically different from those created by the Exalted of Creation. The reason is that the Alchemicals' method of using Essence is entirely different than normal Exalted in that they are based in physically installed Charms that simply draw from a tank of stored essence. They wouldn't be able to utilize the normal martial arts forms because of this. However, it follows reason that the Alchemicals would develop -some- form of martial arts that would prove useful in some way to them, even if this utility is merely self-discipline instead of practicing the arts of combat. Their supernatural martial art forms would likely rely on twisting their existing charms' effects into new ways.
Game Description and Mechanics
Although rarely seen, the Alchemicals have developed their own sets of martial arts over the millennia. Their forms emphasize economy and usefulness in battle. They are organized by caste, since each caste has their own particular favored set of Attributes. However, the Alchemicals’ martial arts are closer to Charm Combos than true Essence-fueled martial arts forms. They require several Alchemical Charms and a minimum number of dots in three different Attributes. In this manner, the Alchemical martial arts forms combine their existing charms in new and surprising ways, not requiring the installation of new charms to utilize their martial arts.
Alchemicals are unable to use the Martial Arts of other Exalted. Although each caste of Alchemical has a martial arts form associated with them, it is by no means a secret style that other castes cannot learn. Other castes can learn the styles of other castes, but generally do not do so.
Alchemical Martial Arts Charms have a set of minimum Attribute levels that must be met in order to use. Typically these Attributes are the same as the caste attributes of the caste the style is associated with. The charms also have a prequisite number of charms that the Alchemical must possess in order to utilize the charm, and this requisite number of charms must be charms associated with the Attributes named in the minimum attributes section.
