Empty Stomach Gesture

 Cost: 6 motes
 Duration: Instant
 Type: Simple
 Minimum Survival: 4
 Minimum Essence: 3
 Prerequisite Charms: Underworld Foraging Method

With a flick of his wrist and a sound like buzzing insects, the food supplies carried by a group of travelers is instantly lost to the perils of rot and disease. Up to 10 man/days of food per point of Essence the Abyssal possesses is infested with grubs, rendered bone dry and inedible, or rotted away to a contaminated hunk of diseased meat. Any attempt to consume such food (for those who get desperate) gives no real nourishment and requires a Stamina + Resistance roll (difficulty of the Abyssal's Survival) to avoid contracting some horrible and painful stomach illness. On a botch, the subject contracts some dangerous disease of the Storytellter's choice.
In the underworld, this charm consumes every last ounce of any food that might have been brought from Creation. This includes any that the Abyssal and his companions might have with them, unless it's kept well-distant from the Abyssal when he uses this charm. This virtually guarentees that any group intending to brave the underworld has to turn back, or perishes of starvation.

Aimless Wanderer's Trance

 Cost: 4 motes
 Duration: Varies
 Type: Simple
 Minimum Survival: 4
 Minimum Essence: 2
 Prerequisite Charms: Enduring Huntsman Method

With this Charm, an Abyssal comes to understand the ways in which the Shadowlands connect to Creation and the Underworld. The character may choose whether he finds himself in Creation or the Underworld everytime he leaves a Shadowland, regardless of the time of day or time of year. He may extend the benefits of this charm to up to two-times his Essence in other individuals, provided they follow him faithfully and do not linger more than the Abyssals Essence x100 yards behind at all times.
When the Abyssal reaches Essence 3, he may also use this charm to obtain easy transport for himself and a few others to the realm of the chained gods or the lairs of his dead masters -- the prison realm of Malfaes, or the hollowed halls of the Labryinth. If the Abyssal is not in appropriate surroundings (underground, or in a desert), the transition takes five days. Otherwise, he completes the travel in (10 hours - Essence) of travel. The Abyssal simply wanders aimlessly, and suddenly finds himself encased in the realm he sought. It might be possible to use this charm to find passage to Yu-Shan, but the Celestial Lions would surely turn the Abyssal away.
The duration of this charm is generally whatever the Storyteller requires, and will vary depending on circumstances.

Aimless Wanderer seems to be a little too "tricksey." Maybe that was your intent, but it looks to me more like two Charms - the "pick where you go when you leave a Shadowland" being one, the "end up in alternate dimesions" a new one, using the first as a prereq and maybe being Essence 3? - Ashande

Perhaps, perhaps. The intent of the charm is that it makes you expertly good at travelling to and understanding strange Primordial dimensions. It could be two charms, of course, but to tell the truth it barely seems useful as two charms:) 'leastways to me:) I think it works best as above, but I'm willing to listen to your point at least. -- CrownedSun
