CHARACTER CREATION


STEP ONE: CHARACTER CONCEPT
Choose concept, caste, totem, and Nature. Note Caste's anima powers.


STEP TWO: SELECT ATTRIBUTES
Note that all Attributes start with one dot before you add any.
Select Favored Attributes (3); may not be the same as Caste Attributes.
Assign dots to Caste Attributes (9), none may have a rating less than 2.
Assign dots to Favored Attributes (6).
Assign dots to remaining Attributes (4).


STEP THREE: SELECT ABILITIES
Choose Abilties (25 - none may be higher than 3 without spending bonus points); Lunars lack Caste or Favored Abilities. At least 2 must be spent on Survival and at least 1 must be spent on a combat Ability: Archery, Brawl, Martial Arts, Melee or Thrown.


STEP FOUR: SELECT ADVANTAGES
Choose Backgrounds (7 - none may be higher than 3 without spending bonus points), Virtues (5 - none may be higher than 3 without spending bonus points), Charms (8 - at least 4 must be from Caste Attributes). Select Hybrid Form Attributes and Gifts (2 Attributes and 1 Gift per Essence).


STEP FIVE: FINISHING TOUCHES
Record Essence (2), Willpower (add the total of two highest Virtues - may not start at higher than 8 unless at least two Virtues are 4 or higher), Personal Essence Pool (Essence + [Willpower x 2]) Peripheral Essence Pool ([Essence x 4] + [Willpower x 2] + [character's highest Virtue x 4]) and health levels (7, plus any gained from Charms).


BONUS POINTS
Bonus points (15) may be spent at any time during character creation.

Willpower.......2 (Cannot raise Willpower above 8 unless the sum of the two highest Virtues is 8 or above)

BACKGROUNDS

ALLIES - Aides and friends who help in tasks. (As described in Exalted, pg 141)
ARTIFACT - Weapons and tools, almost certainly crafted from moonsilver. (As described in Exalted, pg 142)
BACKING - Rank in an organizaton of power and influence. (As described in Exalted, pg 142)
COMMAND - Barbarians you've rallied who are dedicated to fighting for your cause. (As described in Exalted: The Dragon-Blooded pg. 159)
CONTACTS - Information sources and associates in useful places. (As described in Exalted, pg 142).
CULT - Mortals who worship you. (As described in Exalted: The Lunars, pg 98)
FAMILIAR - An animal companion. (As described in Exalted, pg 143)
HEART'S BLOOD - Animals (and men) whose forms you can take. (As described in Exalted: The Lunars, pg 99)
INFLUENCE - Your pull in the world around you. (As described in Exalted, pg 144)
MANSE - A place of power and Essence. (As described in Exalted, pg 145)
MENTOR - A patron and teacher. (As described in Exalted, pg 145)
RESOURCES - Material goods and money. (As described in Exalted, pg 146)
